The September meeting will be replaced by the chapter picnic on September 8 at noon, at the Plattsmouth airport. There will be no presenter. The chapter will provide burgers, brats and drinks. Please bring a side dish or dessert to share.

Breakfast flyout August 11
Mike finally got his RV 12 running well and the weather looks good for a breakfast fly out on sunday August 11. Vermillion SD (VMR) is having a breakfast fly in. There will be a free will offering to the Lions Club for breakfast.
Let’s plan to arrive at 08:30. Talk 122.75 as usual.
New Directory and Membership Form
The membership directory and membership form have been updated to the latest versions, and the newsletters for May through July are now online — sorry about the time lag there, I’ll try to get those newsletters up to date a lot quicker!
Flyout Sat. 9/16/23
We are going to fly out to Austin MN (AUM) on Saturday 9/16 to visit the SPAM museum, Yum! 205 nm 040 degrees from MLE
Plan to arrive at 11:00. Mike has reserved a courtesy car.
We will eat lunch at the B & J Bar which is 500 feet from the museum. Yes, they have SPAM sandwiches.

The Newsletters page has been updated with everything I have to date.
EAA 80 is Non-Profit
EAA Chapter 80 is classified as a Non-Profit Charitable Organization per section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code. As a result, we are eligible to receive tax-deductible contributions in accordance with Code section 170. Your contributions will go towards such things as:
- Aviation scholarships
- Scholarships to send kids to EAA’a Air Academy in Oshkosh, Wisconsin
- Helping promote Young Eagles events and rallies for the community
- Many other events that promote aviation in the Eastern Nebraska and Western Iowa region.
EAA 80 is a 100% volunteer organization, there are no paid members to the staff. Our only funding comes from chapter dues and occasional fund raising.
