Welcome to EAA Chapter 80's web-site
Chapter 80 has been upholding the vision and goals of EAA since 1967. Most of our members hail from Eastern Nebraska and Western Iowa. At 165+ strong, our membership has representation from all walks of life.
We meet at 7:00pm on the second Monday of every month inside the main hangar of Hangar One, Inc. at Millard Airport, Omaha, NE. Members share their project updates with the rest of the group. We also invite interesting speakers to share their building or flying experiences with the chapter members.
New members and visitors are encouraged to introduce themselves and tell everyone a little bit about their projects or planes. After a short break of cookies and coffee, the fun continues!
Sometime during the evening, the chapter's official business is conducted. Members are always discussing with others about problems or successes they have had with their projects or planes. The relaxed atmosphere is ideal for new comers to learn from the experienced aviators.
The chapter has a hangar at Wahoo Airport, for its members to use for their projects. This place is ideal for finishing up a project.
The chapter has a very active membership that loves to do just about anything related to aircrafts. In the true spirit of general aviation, this fine group of people gather to build, fly, promote aviation and have fun!
